Theory of the origin of the universe and the origin of the solar system. Age of the Earth (geological scale; radioactive dating). C-T border. Methods for determining the size and shape of the Earth. Gravimetry. Internal structure of the Earth. Earthquakes (seismic waves, seismic shadow, macroseismic scale, Richter scale, seismograms, microseisms). Occurrence of a tsunami. Volcanoes (basic elements, types of volcanic material, tracking volcanic activity, volcanoes outside our planet). Geoelectricity. Earth's magnetic field (origin and its parameters, paleomagnetic research). Solar activity and solar- terrestrial connectivity. Theory of global tectonics (tectonic plate boundaries, Wegner's hypothesis, reversibility of the geomagnetic field, hot spots). Occurrence of annual seasons. Determination of the solar constant. Origin, development, composition and structure of the Earth's atmosphere. Cloud formation conditions and processes and precipitation and its classification.
