Course content:
Historical overview and introduction to forensic science. Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) and Evidence Collection. Collecting, documenting, photographing and packaging physical evidence, fingerprints, hair, glass, shoe prints, stumps. Fundamentals of Ballistic Evidence, Collection and Analysis. Collection, packaging, documentation and storage of biological traces. Taking evidence from incendiary means in the crimes of arson. Analysis of forged documents. Within the course, 5 criminal legal events will be processed based on real cases from the judiciary (murder, rape, burglary, traffic accident and forgery of a notarized document.
